Jack is a qualified architect and also a Studio Tutor and Visiting Critic at the University of Bath’s Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering. He rejoined the team in 2021 after having initially helped establish the studio’s reputation for carefully considered and high-quality designs since the practice’s inception in 2012.
Led by a conscientious design ethos, he works across our projects to help tailor projects to people and place through an appreciation of appreciation of materials, craft and context. He gained practical experience working on site for contractors early on in his career, and his time in professional practice has seen him work across a number of award-winning schemes, including recipients of the RIBA Downland Prize, Housing Design Awards, and projects nominated for the Architects’ Journal Small Projects Award.
