Furze Knoll
This renovation and refurbishment to a 1950s bungalow places a new contemporary stair at the heart of the design. The building has been given a new lease of life with an environmental retrofit and extension.
Wiltshire, 2016

Bought in 2015 by the new owners, the property was transformed from a tired affair into a joyful play of light and contemporary detailing. With some simple, small-scale interventions, the exterior or the property has been face-lifted beyond recognition; similarly, the dark, tatty interior spaces have been given a new lease of life by simplifying colours, textures and finishes.
A mix of bespoke kitchen, stairs, furniture and fittings - designed by MCA in conjunction with Westside Design - and hi-spec bath fit-outs - by Hobsons Choice of Bath - were all tirelessly brought together by the main contractor Sheer Class.
